Chage back to Media Player 6 -----

If you don't like Windows Media Player 7 (WMP 7), you can change back to WMP 6. Windows Me doesn't let you remove WMP 7, but WMP 6 is still available. Follow these steps: 

Open a MS-DOS window (Start > Programs > Accessories - MS DOS Prompt 

In the MS-DOS window type: ren c:\progra~1\window~1\wmplayer.exe wmplayer.$$$ and press [Enter] 
This will make a backup copy of WMP 7 


Type: copy c:\progra~1\window~1\mplayer2.exe c:\progra~1\window~1\wmplayer.exe and press [Enter] 
That's all! If you want to change back to WMP 7, copy wmplayer.$$$ over wmplayer.exe.
